WHO WE ARE

Whether a stay-at-home mom or a top organizational leader, we are all human beings. As human beings we have one thing in common, our natural human instincts. Our instincts serve a major purpose — to keep us safe physically, but the major stimulus is FEAR!

The instinctive stimulus of fear begins to dominate our thinking processes as we age from childhood into adulthood and can affect us both personally and professionally. By our natural use of our human instincts to protect us physically, we begin to build thought structures from the basic emotion of fear. Fearful, reactive thoughts tend to be the root cause of stress, anxiety, doubt and disease. We unconsciously resist change and growth due to our instinctive fearful response to anything new. So, by this instinctive response to life, we are inclined to grow stagnant.

The Byrd Group addresses this issue with individuals, groups and businesses using a system and process that has been proven over years of practical application. The Next Level Achievement System^TM replaces old reactive thinking processes with a simple system of daily proactive behaviors. This process is aimed at replacing old instinctive thoughts and behaviors with new proactive thoughts and behaviors.

Using the guidelines of cutting-edge science and research, we begin to identify current Limiting Beliefs, expand Mindful Awareness and discover a practice of eliminating stress through Meditation. This proven system and process creates an innovative proactive approach while reprograming that old reactive mindset. The process of inspiring transformational change as you experience a grander vision of self is both the mission and purpose of The Byrd Group.

OUR STORY

Coaching others to achieve their full potential has been a life-long career focus for David Byrd. David coached football on the high school and collegiate level in South Carolina before joining Leadership Management International, founded by Paul J. Meyer, in Waco, Texas. David Byrd Consulting was established in 2009 to provide individuals, businesses, teams and organizations with practical, proven systems that produce measurable results. David created the The Next Level Achievement System^TM, a program of personal management, leadership development, organizational planning and personal next-level growth. Utilizing this system to help leaders and their organizations reach that coveted next level has been the cornerstone of his life’s work.

With a long-standing dream goal of working closely with her dad to assist individuals and businesses in their proactive growth, Jenni Byrd Grier joined David Byrd Consulting in 2014. Jenni brought extensive management and leadership experience to the company after serving in various positions in both International and American companies. She was named President of David Byrd Consulting in 2018 and has expanded the company’s vision of transformational change for their clients to include workshops, retreats and online programs.

The evolvement of David Byrd Consulting to The Byrd Group is a reflection of David and Jenni’s commitment to their clients’ achievement and personal growth and an outlet to exemplify the company’s purpose and mission.

David Byrd

David Byrd, founder and CEO of The Byrd Group is a master of effective leadership. He is a best-selling author with four published books, a sought after speaker, and leadership development consultant. David has more than 35 years of experience working with top business executives and their organizations. Helping leaders and their organizations get to that coveted next level has been the cornerstone of his life’s work.

Before he began his career as a leadership consultant, David coached high school football and later went on to teach at the collegiate level. He began his career in business and leadership development in 1979 as a consultant with Leadership Management International.

When not changing lives, Byrd resides in Waco, Texas, with his wife Mary. He has two daughters and five grandchildren. David served as an adult Sunday school teacher for over 25 years and enjoys time outdoors.

Jenni Byrd Grier has achieved her dream goal to work side-by-side with her father. Jenni is a transformational speaker, personal development coach, and Next Level Achievement™ expert. As the President of The Byrd Group, Jenni is committed to providing achievement and personal growth for all clients.

Before joining The Byrd Group, Jenni served as Director of Customer Experience and Marketing at Duke Energy in Charlotte, N.C. During her 13+ years at Duke Energy, Jenni completed the Duke Energy/University of Chapel Hill Strategic Leadership Program and the Charlotte Leadership Program.

Jenni grew up in Waco, Texas and attended the University of South Carolina, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing and Management degree. She then went on to receive her Master of International Business Studies at the University of South Carolina. Jenni is now located in North Carolina with her husband, Rob, and their two daughters. Both are actively involved in their church and community.

Debbie Mays

As the Operations Director and Executive Assistant at The Byrd Group, Debbie Mays brings her extensive business experience to the team.

Before joining The Byrd Group, Debbie worked in corporate sales and client support and owned her own medical transcription business. Born and raised in Northern California, she now calls Missouri home with her husband, Scott, where they are both actively involved in their church and community.
